Matthews Lawyers 3/10 Gawler Street Mount Barker 5251 0401 269 091

The matter of KARDOS V HARMON (pseudonyms issued by the Court to protect the identity of the parties) came before His Honour, Judge McLelland on 7 May 2020. Contact orders can be breached only if there is risk to the child.

Matthews Lawyers assisted the Respondent Mother. Due to financial hardship, we were not engaged to represent the Respondent Mother in Court, but we assisted her to prepare her documents and provided the legal argument for her for the Hearing. THIS JUDGMENT IS NOW COMMON LAW PRECEDENT. It can be accessed on the link:

The Court also awarded the Respondent Mother costs against the Applicant Father – he has to pay her costs.
